You can also use a compact mixer, like a Behringer 502 ($39)… that way you also have a way to plug in a microphone without losing a channel in Traktor.

I’ve never run into a situation where I’ve needed something to control a monitor level with the S4. If I’m running it at home, master is my monitor. If I was running it at a club, the house mixer (with monitor control) is never more than a foot or two away from my S4.
