“Oh look it’s an F1…man I shouldn’t buy one, I’ve already spent $4,000 on gear this past week…I guess I can pick one up, just see how it works, then return it…”
I just picked up a Mikro for $50 off clist. Instead of mapping a couple pages of pads to sample decks I’m just gonna go ahead and pick up a F1 now and use the Mikro for Instant Grat, cue point, custom slicer, and that type of stuff.
Really? There is always some hack way that is 100 times more trouble than its worth. There is nothing official from NI that allows the remix decks to be mapped.
I think the problems I’m coming across may have to do with the TouchSmart computer I attempted to make this work on. May try my non-gigging laptop in the morning. Got gigs Friday and Saturday so real glad I didn’t re-install 2.5 on that one.
They have a few stores with DJ sections and had even had some pretty big names do demos at those stores. I noticed the other day they had some good DJ headphones off in a separate area at my Best Buy. Which incidentally was sperate from where they keep the Beats by Dre.
