Just seen these, going to get some to bung up unused ports when playing out, can never be too careful around idiots! :wink:

Keyboard and speakers is what you really have to worry about. macbooks at least allow you to put keyboard covers on.

Yeh, Iā€™ve got a keyboard cover, but thought these would come in handy for people who donā€™t use stands, where ports could get liquid on them, speakers are well out of my way in the place I play at

I meant the laptop speakers, if something spills in the laptop itself itā€™s probably getting through there or the keyboard first.

Yeahā€¦ i just looked at the unused ports on my MBP and they are full of crap.
Working in clubs with smoke machines and air-con blowing dust about soon makes your stuff clog up.

I kinda feel like a mother wrapping her kid in cotton wool ā€œOh dont play on the swingsā€ butā€¦ those caps look real cool as well :smiley:

The difference is that letting your kid play in the dirt helps building its resistance, letting your notebook play in the dirt - not so much :slight_smile:

my browser plays in the dirt enough, my laptop doesnā€™t need to follow suit.

Went for the blue as they match my chroma caps and midi fighter case :slight_smile:

just be careful with the keyboard covers cuz the intake for the cooling on macbook pros gets sucked through the cracks in the keyboard and so if you have a keyboard cover it can make your comp overheat.
On the other hand its a huge deal cuz if a drink spills on the keyboard you arenā€™t screwedā€¦ur saved

Isnā€™t the intake in the space between the case and the hinge? At least on my mac the cooler opening (not the case) is to the back and down.

OT, i would buy these but iā€™ll sure lose them in less than a week :stuck_out_tongue: Itā€™s a nice idea.

Yeh I think the keyboard on the newer generation MacBook Proā€™s does provide cooling as well
