Im finding that with more and more things going on the cpu meter gets higher and then goes red and eventually starts slowing down what’s playing and distorting?
I feel that not that much is going also the latency is set as far right as it can go.
work with recorded audio instead of plugins. record the plugin. pain in the arse because you can’t tweak the sound as nicely, but it basicly takes all the stress of the CPU.
it could also be the plugin. I enjoy Glitch, but it just weighs everything down so badly. I just saw something on reddit I believe explaining how it works. Essentially what is going on, is even when the vst isnt being used, the processor is still running inputs through it. So the more you have the more taxing it becomes. Maybe try to isolate the problem, avoid that vst until the track is almost complete. Or get that part perfect, record it, and drop it in as straight audio like said above.
Yea the more I’m reading into it it seems vst and maschine is not optimised properly something to do with multicore support…which for a device that says to incorporate vst you would think would run sufficiently…could be Im just adding one ice verb to many
