Crossfader issues - and it isnt the curve knob. Please help, gig in 6 hours…

Hey all,

My crossfader curve isnt set sharp - in fact its all the way over to the other side. Traktor registers this on screen too. Yet when i push one side or another, the volumes of the tracks dont change until i hit the left or right extreme, when it will cut the track that is not on that side. So it basically is acting like a supersharp crossfader…at any position other than left or right extreme, both tracks will be playing at the same volume. At left extreme the right finally cuts out, and vice versa.

The TSI is fine - cc 008 is set to fader/knob, direct.

The volume faders work like theyre supposed to.

I am used to mixing with the xfader, and can manage with the volume faders if needed, but I like having options…can anyone help?

You’ve got both the CF curve knob on the VCI and the CF curve in the software set correctly?

…yeah that was it (cf curve in the settings) - i could have sworn i double checked that. i feel like a dunce haha
