Custom Midifighter problem (RESOLVED 2011-09-16)

Hey guys, I am having a problem with my midifighter. Traktor is getting midi signals but none of my mappings are working. Any ideas of how to fix this problem?

Hi, i have the same problem and just about to give up, i think mine is defective ( #1365 ) i’ll just wait and see if there is any response that will help us.

I am looking into it and will try to help you if i solve the problem(as it seems we are alone in this one)

No luck for me, but i found this, mine does the light thing as described in this post.

After about 12 hours of programing, restarting, reinstalling drivers and mapping the problem that I have come across is that the notes that the midi fighter is sending to my computer are not the ones that are standard for the midi fighter.

Instead of :

C3 C#3 D3 D#3
G#2 A2 A#2 B2
E2 F2 F#2 G2
C2 C#2 D2 D#2

I am getting:

C0 C#0 D0 D#0
G#-1 A-1 A#2 B-1
E-1 F-1 F#1 G-1
C-1 C#-1 D-1 D#-1

I am in the “stock” settings, default this is Channel 3 for the Midi Channel.
Anyone have a solution to this?

You are gonna love me for this.
while you plug in the USB cable, you can do a Factory Reset by holding down the key pattern:

. . . o
. . o .
. o . .
o . . .

I think you might be in 4 banks mode. Check the midi fighter menu mode sticky, it’s point 5.

AHA! thanks man.

And Yeah no its not in 4 banks mode

Hi Dan,

Sorry for the slow response - did the factory reset solve your issue?

Yeah man It worked.
Still wondering what happened exactly but oh well it works.
