DDJ WEGO 4 with Traktor job wheel mapping problem
Has anyone tried using the DDJ-WEGO3 or 4 with Traktor? The job wheel works great with Rekordbox, but in Traktor touching the wheel sends the track all over the place. I’ve tried adjusting the mapping sensitivy and have also tried deleting the mapping and learning a new one, but no luck. Any idea what i should be looking for?

The mapping looks fine. Which Traktor version do you use? Pro 2?
I thought so, too. There is some problem with the way traktor is interpreting the controller. Especially if it is trying to do multiple things at once. I will try wiping all the mappings and staring clean and will report back.
By the way, how are you validating the mapping? What software do you use?
I just use Traktor - imported the mapping and looked up for jogwheel commands (jog turn, jog touch on) and it all looked good.
Starting from scratch is what I’d suggest doing… Just add this following command and map it to yur jogwheel turn:
Add IN > Deck Common > Jog Turn
Type = Encoder
Mode = Relative
Enc. Mode = 3Fh or 7Fh (try both, one should work for your jogwheel)
Finally adjust the rotary sensitivity to your liking.
