Soundcard plus mixer is more flexible than an integrated soundcard - lets you gig out without dragging your mixer if you’re using DVS. I’m also a fan of using a mixer and discrete controllers vs. an all-in-one like the s4 for portability/modularity. Also lets you use the club’s mixer. I do miss jogwheels for manual beatmatching… granted that’s why I’m getting a TT now.
I’m not using DVS though, i don’t plan on ever touching a TT in my life!
I’ve always got my Audio 2 DJ if i ever need a small soundcard too, and the Denon is an absolute monster!
