Denon DN-X1600 LED mapping help?

Denon DN-X1600 LED mapping help?

I just got a DN-X1600 a few days ago, and this thing is fantastic. Everything has been fairly straight forward except for the LED mapping in traktor. Button learning doesn’t work, and the manual gives everything in a weird hex format.
I downloaded a mapping and have been able to figure out how to map some of the cue and efx send buttons.
Does anyone have a full list of the rest of the LED midi out notes?

The fix for this is pretty simple. Use a hexadecimal to decimal converter - Decimal is what Traktor uses in the midi Mapping. You’ll probably see a pattern, and remember that Hex goes from 0 through F changing to A instead of 10. As far as I know, the EQ LED’s are outside mappable range of Traktor.

As DJAdeSands already posted, you need to convert the hex values of the (LED) receive commands found in the X1600 manual.

Some general info can be found here:
o) http://forum.highlyliquid.com/showthread.php?p=7416
o) MIDI Specification - CockosWiki
o) midi_specification [MIDIbox]
o) Midi message ( 3byte ) to Midi note conversion!!! (see link in post #2)

Then do the (led) output mapping in Traktor: Traktor Pro 2 Advanced MIDI Mapping: Mapping LEDs

You can also have a look at X1600 section in the Denon DJ Forum: Engine DJ Community - Product Resource & Community

… but not sure if the Denon Forum is already up and running again: DenonDJ Forum down...

Ah, I see how it works now! After writing a few of the commands down and comparing the commands to the conversion chart, it all makes sense now. Thank you!

Sweeeeet!
