When it comes to software DJ’ing, I’ve only dealt with controllers and when I mix vinyl, it’s only at home, using a “Realistic” brand mixer from like the '80s.
That’s odd i don’t see any mention of an audio 2 in the OP.
But to answer your question. Buying a complete system like that is something that should be thought out and planned, since it’s your setup and your money that’s going into it. Personally i would go with option 1, but maybe you can give us some more information on what your function is on saturday that you need the equipment so soon for. Have you ever used DVS or traktor before?

Sorry, yea, I edited the first post…but the function is just a charity fundraiser, nothing crazy, but I also do weddings, house parties, school dances, and I have a few club gigs coming up this summer, if that helps anything.
It’s older. But it feels awesome and has some cool features. The weird thing is the ecler EQ knob with a really wide mid section…there’s a setting in Traktor to emulate it so you can hear what it sounds like before you commit.
I’ve pretty much got the same setup as option 2, the VMC-002XLU is a decent mixer, the crossfader is crap for scratching but other than that its a decent mixer, I got it really cheap second hand though. If i had the option of any of the other mixers in that list i’d probably choose them over it, except that KM202 wow that looks ugly…i just hate white gear though.
dude… check craigslist for a djm 707. Underated mixer with a fantastic xfader. Your into hip hop so I think that would serve you well.
I got a used one for like 220 3 years ago after someone jacked my trusty vestax 05pro and im tellin you it’s a dope mixer especially for the price you can get them for.
I woudln’t call Ecler a safe choice, but they’re good mixers. I seriously considered getting one instead of my 004xl…it was mostly just money that stopped me. That and the fact that I don’t believe in MIDI on DJ mixers (because you get used to it and then don’t have it at gigs…just like I don’t believe in Scratch Certified mixers).
It’s old. And Vestax. And 19" wide (plus the ears).
Vestax has made a lot of good mixers over the years. Differences between them are pretty small other than the fact that some of them run audio through the faders and others use VCAs. You have to clean the former more often, and eventually the faders wear out.
I haven’t used that model, but it probably feels a lot like every other vestax.
