EDAN and myself of London’s SW1 Radio have launched the Development Podcast this week. Each month we’ll each be submitting a podcast, EDAN mixing up deep drum and bass and I’ll be bringing you progressive techno.
The idea of Development is to bring together the best music of all dance genres under one umbrella. So that includes everything from electronica to drum and bass, break beat to dub step.
Over the coming months, as well as posting our own recent dj sets, we’ll be introducing special guest mixes as a 3rd part of our monthly Podcasts.
Needless to say we’re both avid users of DJTT’s VCI 100SE and big fans of the DJ Techtools community. For this reason we’re really keen to get members of the DJTT forum to feature on our Guest Mix Podcast, so if your interested please submit your mixes to us!
In the new year the Development Podcast will be actively promoted across the UK club scene

I don’t have anything prepared at the mo after a break from DJing & only recently getting into digital DJing, but I’ll definitely pop something on Soundcloud in the near future and let you know

Seems like recent technology advancements in DJing has got lots of retired vinyl turners back in the game. I personaly feel that digitalism has shed a whole new light on to djing and it now means it’s easier for djs to sound different and create their own sounds by layering tunes, adding effects samples etc…
