DJ Bag

DJ Bag

Just found a new Dj Bag.
has a very nice design..

(Too bad I already have a UDG producer bag)

that is very nice…

I just got one for $100 which IMO was a steal, best purchase I’ve made in a while… if only I could remember the brand.

I hate backpack style bags, I need a sling to feel comfortable. =^(

If this had a sling I might replace my old Technics Ruck Sack.

Yeah, actually it not having a sling is fail, I prefer that tbh (tho both is even more awesome!)

yea any bag that doesnt have both arm thingys and a sling is fail. its not exactly new tech
that bag does look rather nice tho

Which is why I love(d) my ruck sack. Sling with hide-able backpack straps. plus the tote handles.

i swear the answer is always both. that is the nature of teh universe

Honestly, I think the backpack style is far more efficient, and easier to carry.

I just don’t like looking like a dork. haha

QFT

Dork factor is pretty much the reason I went for the sling styles.

i hate to jump in all but, i guess ima dork, I roll up into the club with my hugh vestax backpack. it has a really good side strap but i carry alot of stuff so i use both straps

haha well i guess thats the only other selling point of a bag besides usefulness

I don’t have anything constructive to say (well, beyond linking to the Namba Studio Backpack); I just wanted to see my logo next to Kaon’s.

ahahaha nice

If you guys looking for the sling then http://www.monocase.com/mono-efx-producer.asp looks like it can carry alot of stuff.

Real men sport the rocket pack…

This monster carries 2 computers, power supplies, audio interface, cables, hard drives, headphones, and MIDI controllers with ease. The trolley a separate part that can be detached. It has backpack straps, as well as a shoulder strap. It’s got a rain flap, extender, great padding, and will carry 100lbs of gear like nobody’s business if you want it to. And it’s airline carry on compliant.

It might be uglier than the other bags, but when someone says so you can beat them to death with it and laugh at their lifeless corpse.

errr…

Thank you x 1000! I’ve been looking for something like this for a while! I love my Targus backpack but it isn’t very padded, and I haven’t found anything else that will accommodate an older Sony Vaio (they’re thick), high-volume cooler pad, Uberstand, headphones, MIDI controller, Firebox, and the usual assortment of cables and crap.

I’m probably gonna pick this thing up. Thank you again!

I am still partial to a Namba backpack, or a UDG Creator backpack. (LEDs rule!)

I can recommend the Namba and the UDG Creator, but I bought both and returned them because they simply wouldn’t hold all my gear. Part of what makes them good equipment protectors is their rigidity, but their rigidity means the space you have is not very flexible. High-end camera backpacks are a good option, but I struck out there, too.

What always does me in are my pad cooler (I wanted a very high-volume unit that pulls air from the laptop instead of blowing air onto it, and it’s kind of bulky) and APC surge protector (which I end up using on half my gigs).

id never buy anything without wheels again… even tho id love to clean the bearings of my tehcnics wheels…but i cant :disappointed:

@Steve Boyett:

Dude, you and your sweet setup must be too much for most bags, I guess?
