DJ changovers using Pioneer CDJs in advanced HID Control with TRAKTOR PRO 2

I had a disaster occur at a gig not long ago where I was controlling 2x Pioneer CDJ 2000nxs in advanced HID mode with TRAKTOR PRO 2. The next DJ was using USBs so at the end of my mix he plugged into the CDJs and once he selected his first track my music stopped completely! (You can imagine my frustration)

Has anyone also encountered this? Is it still possible to use HID control with Traktor without this occurring?

Yes, just use DJM’s soundcard or bring your own (Audio 2 and above is enough).
