The Audio 4 DJ will work with timecode in the same way that the Audio 8 DJ does.
The reference quoted in Rumblejazzs’ post refers to the fact that having the Audio 4 alone will not ‘enable’ timecode support. If you buy Traktor Scratch Pro you will be able to use to the Audio 4 as your Soundcard for your timecode setup.

I think the debate was whether Audio DJ 4 could be used with Traktor Scratch pro at all, or that’s how I interpreted it!

hehe so that is quite interesting, even though im considering the audio8 aswell… its convenient to route the torq sampler thru a third channel, and have a line in to record mixes… but its pricey…
