DJ Java’s KORG nanoKONTROL2 MIDI Map - Use it as a Sampler deck controller!
Hey all, i am super excited to show this to you… especially those of you who stuck with their VCI-100’s. Thank’s to the inspiration from DJTT and other members of the community, I have mapped-out a KORG nanoKONTROL2 so it will work as a dedicated sampler deck controller in Traktor Pro2.
You can also check out this youtube video I made last night, with a complete explanation and a demonstration of the mapping in action. Just as a headsup- I am just getting my feet wet with using sampler decks… so don’t expect to hear the Mozart of sampling.

I’d love to hear feedback from all of you on what could be improved, changed, etc… I’ve put alot of effort and thought into making this mapping, and I hope to keep it updated.
Also… what would you suggest to be the second preset FX group? Let me know and i’ll update the mapping!
Me and a friend have been looking for something just like this kontroller, and your mapping is completely awesome. For the second preset I think that one knob could control a chained group like this , one a beatmasher and the last one something else. Does that sound interesting?
with that effect, one knob sets the effect to Reverse Grain and as you continue to move the knob, it either increases/decreases the Speed parameter of the Reverse Grain, in effect giving you a “winding up” or “winding down” sound effect… great to use when you want to make a song sound like its slowing down and then throw in a new track.
