DJ Mokmoon's VCI-100 SE mapping with Traktor Pro 2

DJ Mokmoon’s VCI-100 SE mapping with Traktor Pro 2

Dear All fellow DJ’s

due to the many available features within Traktor Pro 2 and the little availability of really cool mappings made me decide to modify my earlier mapping with some more crazy features.

  1. 4 Channel Mixer. Pitch faders (L & R) are functioning as Volume faders. This means you have full control regardless which deck is selected.

  2. Deck C and D are set to be the sample decks. Meaning selecting Deck C you can use the 4 sample decks. I have programmed the deck like this.
When using the Shift button + the the sample 1 to 4 button, the sample will play as long as you hold the button.
3.If the selected sample slot was empty, traktor will automatically load a loop from 8 beats into the slot from the music which is playing in the above deck (live sampling).
4.If deck C or D is selected and you dont use the shift button you have the normal Start/Stop function for each slot.

I always have the sync on on all decks, so any Deck can be the Master.

All other features are still in tact when using Deck A & B. With all features I mean all the awesome effects etc what has been programmed by the DJTT team.

I have replaced the slicer for a transpose stretch since I never used the slicer function. I am a mix DJ and make the music more melodious like this. If any one has some other wishes with the effect selections , just let me know and I will change this tailor-made for you.

If you have a MC-307 (Roland) sampler like me, you can even control your Sample deck volume fader and Filter. If you use only the VCI-100 you have to do it with the general (GAIN) volume fader of deck C & D (same for the filter.)

I hope you enjoy it as much as I do…

Cheers Bas

Its for a MAC by the way!!!

do you have a pc version by chance?
thanks

TSI’s are universal. I mapped my Dicers on my PC and play with 'em on my MBP, so the same goes for this mapping.

oh nice. he specified that it was for a mac so i figured it was specific to the os

thanks for the help.

this quickly becoming a joke, don’t put old instruction out with new product…

thank you will test asap. sounds very promising.

will this work if i have FW 1.4

Yes this will work perfectly. FW1.4 is not so much different from FW1.3 (in FW 1.3 somebody forgot something and that’s why they came with FW1.4)
Enjoy it.

NOTE: dont be affraid in using any kind of mappings, you can always try the mappings.
Just export your midi-mapping file (in the controller section of your setting menu) and name it in a way that you can find it back.
Then you import the “new” mapping and when that isn’t working how you would like to see it working, you can delete the mapping and import your previous mapping again.

If you done this once, you will see how easy it is.

Cheer DJ Mokmoon

Thank you!
