Please don’t bump threads. Especially threads that have been answered. This has been discussed with a bunch of different pieces of advice and bumping adds nothing to the topic.
Other voice synthesizers
Can anybody recommend a voice synthesizer that is as good as the FL Studio one? I’d rather not buy a whole DAW just for the voice synthesizer… Anything out there that’s a VST?
Also, if I wanted to record a name drop on my own, can anyone recommend a solid cheap microphone to use? Or is the microphone not so important if I’m going to be layering tons of effects on the sample anyway?
My advice…post a sign up at a university stating “need a female for voice-over work, will pay good.” 
Then they can do name drops, and a buncha other fun stuff.
A lot of them will do it for $50, and you could work with them in the future if they are good.
