DJ Setup

Hi,

I’m kinda brand new to the DJing scene. I’m just working on a setup so i can start practicing and learning.

My setup so far is:

VCI 100-SE Arcade edition
Macbook Pro 15"
Traktor Pro
Audio 2 DJ

Just Ordered:

Sennheiser HD25 Headphones
2 x KRK Rokit RP6 Monitors

I’m just wondering if there is anything else i may need before i get started?

Just awaiting the monitors and phones to be delivered at the moment.

Also… I notice with Audio 2 DJ there are 2 Inputs, one for phones, one for monitors.

Bit of a silly question, but i’ll ask it anyway… how do you get the headphone input and also 2 x monitor inputs into the 2 channel interface?

The Audio2 has 1 stereo out that would go to your speakers and a headphone jack.

You just need to make sure you have cables.

that’s pretty much all you need for a good digital setup. If you’re happy with that tehn more power to you and you will save thousands of dollars unlike people like me who have obsessive gear buying tendencies and aren’t content with anything but having everything that’s the best.
