Hey ive been Djing for about a year now just at home using the vci-100
and i work in a club so had practise on CDJs
I was wondering how i would go about getting a dj job
the thing is in the uk all the clubs have CDJs when i want to use my vci-100se
just need some peoples advise
Am i even good enough for it

what kind of response do you get when you tell clubs that you want to play with your vci-100 se?
thats just it i havnt started asking yet cos i dont dj yet
but ive never seen anyone else use a laptop and midi player
just ask at the clubs and see what kind of response you get from the club managers and stuff
they might be open to let you try it out.. then if you kill it, that’d be a victory for controllerism
If you have a laptop stand and foam padding it shouldn’t be too much of an intrusion. Load up a 5 minute mix on one CDJ, setup the stand w/laptop, plug in controller and place politely on a foam pad on top of second CDJ/turntable, disconnect second CDJ and plug it’s RCAs into your audio outs. Then it’s go time.
