DJTT Overlay Survey

Dont ever hesitate buying djtt overlays? They are made from almost best quality material. Most of you never even see that material. Its not regular self adhesive paper. It has chemical and moisture resistance as well as heat resistance -40 to 400 F, and its thick. If you even try to buy it and print on it you will have to pay at least 50$ just for printing and cutting. I bought the first overlay but now I am making my own, and it will be printed on PVC poor material. :disappointed:

can anyone post a nice picture of a VCI-100 black with the 2.2 new, overlay on it?

any news or word yet on the possibility of a new overlay?

Could use the free software designer that this company offers to design a faceplate for the whole VCI that could attach via the original front panel screws. Make it out of really thin aluminum. That would be fairly easily swappable, sturdy, and probably pretty cheap to do in batch runs.

we are going to shoot some photos this week of the new overlays and put them in the webstore. They are the same material and colors as the old ones just different text and the logo is moved up into the left.

cool!

Silver Overlay

Are you planning make silver overlay with 2_2 labels (like black version) ?

hey there. as a graphic designer, i would say the current overlays are cool. the layouts are clean and simple and the type is great, however i did notice that some of the kerning was off. perhaps for the next round you might want to take a closer look. I haven’t held one but perhaps the cyan can benefit from a bit less saturation and a bit more white in the color (arcade edition). but then again im only going off of a photograph.

if you don’t have a designer on staff i’d be willing to kern the type for you so that it’s Bauhaus approved  it’s the least i could do for the content i get from the site.
