Do the S2 Mappings work on a PC/Windows 7??

Do the S2 Mappings work on a PC/Windows 7??

I have been trying to download the S2 Mappings for two weeks now and i cannot seem to dowload them correctly.
the file type is saving as HTML not TSI.

even when i save the download file under “.tsi” it does not upload…

its gives me an “error while parsing” … can anyone please help me with this matter…

Is this the mapping you can’t download: DJ TechTools - DJTT Kontrol S2 Mk1 Custom Mapping

Also, which browser and OS are you using?

yes ! thats the mapping i cant download, if i have 2.1.3 version it wont work right?

i am using google chrome browser

The download works fine for me (I’m using a Mac with Chrome). When I download I get a zip file then when I unzip the file I get a tsi. Which OS are you using Windows or Mac OS? If you are using Windows what is Windows version?

When you say 2.1.3 you are talking about the Traktor version? If so, post a comment on the mapping page and the owner can tell you which Traktor version it works with.

Sorry, I should have read the subject line before I asked which OS!!

I’ll have access to a Windows 7 with Chrome installed tomorrow, so I will see if I can reproduce the problem.

One thing I’m not sure about is if you are getting a valid tsi file or a html file. If you look at the file, with notepad for example, if it is a html file it will contain the string “” near the beginning of the file. A tsi file has the string “” near the beginning of the file.

No Problem,

I tried opening the download with Notepad, and it gave me a weird coding i cannot understand…

i posted on the mapping page , thanks for your help

Than you probably have a zip file. So, rename it to .zip for now and I think that will work.

Meanwhile, I will try and figure out why you are not getting the correct filename because you shouldn’t have to rename the file every time you download!

the file once downloaded does show .zip

once clicked on it opens up Traktor but none of the effects go into place,
it is only when i try importing the download through the controller manager that it gives me the error message

Did you unzip the zip file first to get the tsi file? Then import the tsi file into traktor?

no i didnt, thanks for all your help John!!!
that did it!

No problem, glad we figured it out!

thanks once again!
