Effect Buttons On VCI-100
I have the VCI-100 and started with the basic Traktor LE software that came with the unit. I later upgraded to Traktor 3.3 to fix the ramp up problem with the jog wheels. The 4 Effects buttons never worked, because I undrstand that I have to upgrade to Traktor Pro. Is there any other way to add effects without purchasing Traktor Pro? I also like the simplicity of the basic setup and don’t want to change anything that will cause the ramp up to come back.
If the 4th effects button doesnt work thats because it isnt assigned to anything.
I think he means the 4 individual effects buttons are not working.

Ahh well you could try to find a free DAW and use jackdmp to route your audio into the DAW - then use VST effects. Not really for the feint of heart though.

I would say that you actually answered the question in your first post. The reason why the four buttons (and the 4th, lol) dosent work, must be that they are no assignet to anything.
What .tks file are you using?
He is using Traktor LE - it doesnt have any effects.
I would say that he is on 3.3. Or am I missing something?

You have to go to the prefferences menu → midi setup (or sometinhing like that). I would advice you to read the manual. I am shure that you will learn ALOT!
