can analog inputs or buttons be added to the midi fighter?
i some what recall there was an additional mod you could do but i couldn’t find the post (new forum maybe?)
Some context for anyone reading or searching for this in the future. It’s a Midi Fighter 3D board.
- 2x5 header (JTAG) at the top is what we used to flash the chip with a programmer at the factory. If you plan on writing custom firmware for it and flash it with this port be careful since a full chip erase will wipe the bootloader too.
- 1x6 header at the bottom is a debug port. it could be used as an expansion port but would need new firmware. You could add 4 buttons or 2 buttons + 2 knobs/faders here without much more electronics.
The expansion kit was for the original Midi Fighter, that led to the Pros. The 3D was an evolution of that PCB.

No, the official firmware uses the port for debugging.
