Fader Fx on the VCI
I’m having trouble using fader fx on my vci. I’m using traktor 1.1.2 (along with eans midi map), with a silver vci (firmware 1.2 unfortunately). Putting my vci into fader fx mode gives me fx control with the jog, and the pitch fader, but the line fader seems to do absolutely nothing.
Any idea what the problem could be, or how I can go about fixing it? Any help would be really appreciated, cause I’d love to try out the new aerodynamic juggle routine.
anybody =D? tried to sift through the mapping to find that portion… didnt go so well.
this also isnt working for me and i have the 1.3 firmware to, do i have to click on one of the boxes when putting on the mapping?
the pitch fader and the jog wheel work as described, to control dry wet, and first effect parameter, but still, the line fader does absolutely nothing.
Same thing for me too. The Line Fader does nothing. I have f/w 1.2, silver VCI 100 with TSI 2.4.
I’ve kind of resorted to using the reverse grain with the jog wheel, and forgoing the beatmasher… cause the revg works in that routine better.
But I still want my line fader to do something!
You need fw1.3 for the line fader to work in fader fx mode.
fw1.3 adds the reverse function for the line faders, which is what makes it work the way it does
ahhh… Damn, well thats unfortunate. Hope they get stock soon, I’ve been looking all over the place for a second hand one.
i have the 1.3 and still cant get the fader fx to work?
