FastTrack Problem

Hey Guys,

I’ve been reading a lot of posts, but none could solve my problem.

I think the FastTrack (not "pro"version) doesn’t work for cueing and mastering. I thought I could set the “monitor” in traktor to the headphones output, but you CAN’T !!

So I can only assign two outputs (wich would lead to stereo “master”, also on my headphones OR stereo “monitor”, also on my speakers).
Even when I tried to mix mono, so one RCA mono output in master and one on the headphones it didn’t work (see picture)!

I really don’t get it. Is it the soundcard? Is it impossible?

I thought headphoes out and two RCA cables out should cover it :disappointed:

I dont think that card has enough inputs to do it all

External Hub Connectors 1 x MIDI In / Out • 2 x Optical SPDIF In/Out • 2 x line out • 4 x line out

you should get an audio 8 or the lesser audio 4
you’ll get a better sound out of it too M-Audio isn’t super high quality

maybe this is a dumb question, but did u download the asio driver for that soundcard. i had this soundcard, too and it was the same problem. after installing the asio drivers i was able to sue monitor and master…

I did indeed download the latest drivers from the m-audio site.

But what do you mean with “asio”?

Do you people think I will have the same problem with the fasttrack Pro, and if not, why?
