few problems & questions
first because this is my first post on this forum i would like to say thank you for all tutorials from djtt, advices, etc.
i have a two questions…
first…i have a dell inspiron n5030 2GB RAM, 2,2 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 processor running traktor pro.
i have a 2 sound cards m-audio torq conectiv and audio 2 dj
my m-audio conectiv after few hours working has a bad sound quality and i recently got a new audio 2 dj.
i don’t have a bad sound quality problems with audio 2 dj but i have a lot of sound cracks.
i was using either m-audio or audio 2 dj with “Kontrol X1”
my second question…
i want to use a 4 decks internal mixing in traktor with the “kontrol x1” for effects, transporting and looping on the four decks and a “m-audio x-session pro or a Korg Nano Kontrol” for the faders…or
is that mapping possible ?
Sounds like it could be a latency problem. Go to Audio preferences and try pushing your latency up a little bit, but keep it as low as possible without letting it crackle. The Audio 2 easily be able to handle <10ms, assuming you use a 44,100 sample rate.
Yes, very possible, in fact luckily enough someone’s already done it

thanks for the mapping works great
changed the latency but cracks are still disturbing…
i think i should re-instal my lap top…and instal everything all over again…
btw, works fine for about 10 20 minutes with “USB Buffersize - 2 ms” & “Audio Buffersize - 32ms”
…
Make sure you have wifi and bluetooth turned off. When the computer starts to search for networks or devices it can wreak havoc on sound.
Hang on, what software are you using? Where are you changing the latency?
OK, for one thing update to the latest version (1.2.7).
Traktor Pro 1 only has 1 number for latency, not audio and USB buffers, so I guess that’s in the soundcard drivers? You want to be using ASIO drivers for best performance, www.asio4all.com. The Traktor latency is set in the Traktor preferences window, in the audio setup tab.
Doesn’t the audio 2 have official drivers? Why use the generic ASIO?
i use the official drivers
i will update to 1.2.7 and i think the problem will bi solved
