Finally they have arrived :)

Finally they have arrived

After the long wait, they are safe and sound and in my possesion. :stuck_out_tongue:

Where did you get them?

rca cables?

Orange Boxes (USB)

Green (RCA’s)

Did you really pay over $100 each for those cables?

They look cool and all but you realize they are just cables and don’t actually sound any better, right? Especially the usb cables- a usb cable is a usb cable it either works or it doesn’t.

edit: nevermind those RCAs were only $30 at least

I was going to say… they sell some $190 DJ RCAs which is just ridiculous. The usb cables on the other hand…

It’ll be a matter of time before I find out whether they will “work” or “not” :stuck_out_tongue:

EDIT: I was going to say I would never pay 100 for RCA’s lol, at least give the USB’s a shot haha

$400 on a gamble is pretty risky… You would want to be using some high quality monitors with an oscilloscope to even be able to judge the difference.

“Even though there might be perception that there is no sound difference by cable change under data transmission, we present there is definite difference by hi-quality cable and connector with “d+ USB”.
Especially, when an interface is driven by bus-powered, the significance of USB cable affects the stability of power supply and the accuracy of the audio clock.
We designed “d+ USB” aiming at providing the best environment to the DJs and artists who pursue the higher sound quality of their performance. With its excellent sound quality and stylish industrial design, “d+ USB” will be the masterpiece for all professional creators such as DJs, musicians and sound engineers.”

Right… I think I’ll stick with my $2 usb cables but to each his own.

Casinos are my thing :+1:

If they take a shit, ill come back and bow down, how about that deal? haha

I’m not saying they are bad cables, I’m sure they are great. I’m just saying there is no sound quality difference from one usb cable to another.

They really DO look sweet. Not something I’d spend that kind of money on, but more power to you if you feel it was worth the cost and you’re enjoying using them.

All I’m saying is you just spent the equivalent of a K2; F1; faderfox; innofader & nocturn; ounce of weed; 2 kegs of beer; 2 grams of …

I might have been on that when I ordered them, quite possible haha

I least spent $10 on mine so they are braided and light up all blue and purdy. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

haha (these dont light up :disappointed:, but im hoping they grant me my 3 wishes :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:slight_smile:

Link to yours? Those sound sweet.

I had the honor of watching these USBneos in action last night. I though they did look ‘purdy and stuph’, but I though they weren’t that usable as I thought they would be.
This was due to the fact that they weren’t soft/flexible but more sturdy/less flexible.

It would be quite easy to prove there is zero difference in sound from one usb cable to another. Take any audio interfaces that has SPDIF connection (to rule out any errors from DAC conversions). Take any SPDIF cable and connect the digital input to the digital output of the soundcard. Open up your DAW and take a track and route the master output to the SPDIF out. Then open up a channel and route it from the SPDIF input, mute it, and arm it. Have the soundcard first connected with the cheapest functional usb cable you can find. Play and record the track into the muted channel. After it is finished then swap the USB cable to the fancy one and repeat the process. Now you have two audio files- invert the phase on one of them then combine them. If you are left with nothing that means there is no difference between the USB cables. If there is any difference there will be some noise left over, and this rules out any confirmation bias.
