finding bpm for accapellas

im having some trouble ding this in traktor (beat gridding)

i know googleing the track bpm is a good way and works 80% of the time but for the 20% i dont know what to do

i was thinking of youtubeing the track and tap the bpm in traktor ?

what are your thoughts how do you get accapella bpm that dont show in google

Get the original version of the track, play the together in traktor to double check the vocals are identical.

I think tap tempo along with the same version would be the quickest way tbh.

Tap tempo on it’s own is what you need. If you can’t tap along with an acapella you’re in the wrong game.

You can download a stand alone tap tempo app. Google it.

Hm, so if you’re utilizing acappellas for lets say a remix, do you truely want to find the original bpm of the vocal or do you want to simply adjust your master tempo/bpm in your software to be sure everything is synced nicely, or even adjust your beat grid on all your decks to be sure you dont lose the pitch/tone of the vocal?
