firmware downgrade ?
Hi guys , I was wondering if there is anyway to get the 1.2 firmware file
i want it because a friend ask me to do the firmware update on his vci , i did it and all went good with traktor but virtual dj doesn’t recognize the vci and i don’t know what to do
help pls !

Turn the VCI off and turn it back on while holding the button that’s labeled FX preset 1 in the V3 layout to boot into 1.2. To get back to 1.3 turn the VCI off and turn it back on while holding FX preset 2.
this is the layout I’m referencing.
Im sure there is a way to boot into i.2 holding a button down as you turn it on . I cant rememebr which one it is but someone here will answer that shortly

LOL, One minute apart, but it took me at least two minutes to find the instructions on how to boot and type it up.

is there anyway to downgrade to 1.1 firmware ?

If it is recognised in traktor but not in Virtual DJ you must being doing something wrong in your config of virtual DJ.

i don’t know what happens cause when I touch the left jog wheel the vci turns off

If it actually turns off when you touch the jog wheel then you have two possibilities.
However you said it works in Traktor, you need to confirm if it really works in traktor or not.
From the sounds of things you did not assemble it correctly - did you replace the piece of cardboard under the circuit board which the update kits attaches to?
