First Paying Gig
G’day DJTT I’m heading off to my first paying gig tonight, just a school dance sort of thing but hey you’ve gotta start somewhere. got myself a pelican case to put all my goodies in and the rest of my bits and pieces in a backpack. well wish me luck

currently at the gig, it’s just dinner time atm so I’m just playing angus and julia stone and that sorta stuff. I’m videoing it so I can show you guys. it’s been a bit slow as I’ve been instructed to play entrance music till now, but I promise I’ll make it happen when dinners over.

Holy shit! last night was incredible, the only problem I faced was the kids were getting too into it. I did a bit of educating as well, played some lazy rich and DJ Antention. They got so into it that they knocked over my table TWICE! but they caught it thankgod! and they broke the wooden dance floor!!! got paid $100 for the best night of my life! and a shit load of “aww man that was awesome thankyou soo much!”. the stage I was on was only meant to be me but I had close to 20 kids jumping up and down with me. I occasionally pulled off the volume for a second when they started slowing down and screamed “Come OOONNNNNN!” to get them pumped again. I’m meant to be playing a formal after party soon with another DJ which will be sick! anyways thankyou DJTT for your help leading up to last night. (especially onimode for your help with mapping my apc 20).

Haha yeah gotta say though, some of the chicks looked pretty hot, (I’m 17 so it’s cool) but yeah I definitely had them eating out of my hands last night.
The club I play at do an under age night, some of the girls there you wouldn’t think twice about letting them into a regular club night! Scary man!

yea man I know what you mean, some of the girls who were meant to be like 15/16 I would’ve passed for about 18 easy. yea I had the funnest night of my life so far. I’m yet to go clubbing so I’m sure I’ve got some sweet night ahead of me.
