First released mix…can i haz feedback plz?

I’ve been mixing for about 10 months now and ive just started trying to break into the Bay Area DJ scene. all i put up on soundcloud up until now was little mashups but now its going to be full mixes only, and i’d really like to stand out so if i could get some perspective on what i do well/badly that would be invaluable to me :smiley:

so yeah lemme know what you think! im honestly scared as a mofo to be putting up mixes now when theres so many other insanely talented artists & DJs out there who i know could crush me so i want to do all i can to get my skills at a comparable level with everyone else

Humble Feedbacks

Hi bro i am from singapore and my name is steven. To tell you the fact is that you did a good job in the mix but still there is no connection between the music and the target audience. sorry i did play at the pub where i spin, reviewes were not that good. you should have done better on the song choice and i felt that there was no genre behind it. overall mixing was not bad could have done better on the transition of the songs and effects on the tracks.
