Flightcase???

Flightcase???

Hi guys, i was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction as i’ve been trying to search on google with no results :disappointed:
Basically i need a flightcase that could fit my Behringer DDM 4000 plus 1 Xone 1D…
P.S. I know that Road Ready Cases does custom versions but I was wondering if anyone in the DJTT community had an alternative..

i would measure both items next to eachother and see how space you need. I would say to leave about 1" or 2" between both units. Then goto road ready, odyssey, and marathon to see which has the best match for what your looking. Plus the ata case come with cut-out foam so you can mold it to your gear.

I don’t own either the 1D or the DDM4000, but they should both fit in a flightcase made for a 19" mixer with the dense foam they often include put inbetween to secure them. Maybe take them both to a store with one and see how they fit. Custom sounds expensive.

:slight_smile:JesC just beat me to it.

Sorry Lucid, I live on the DJTT Forum…

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction guys… I might follow your advice Jesc

no problem, make sure to keep us posted if you find the flightcase

you are not alone… sometimes it pisses me off - those long lines to the showers are just horrible, not to mention the traffic around coffe automat

Hey guys,
i am looking for a FlightCase as well.
Which brands do you recommend, i want my Xone4D to be as save as possible.

A big case would be nice so i can put in my other equipment as well.

pelican cases are also good. i have used them for years for military ops and they come in different sizes with cut out foam. they are water proof, have a valve on them for taking in flight and much more. google pelican cases and you will see.

Drop Pete a line on info@swanflight.com he will knock up a design for you at a very reasonable price
