FX 3 and 4 for Kontrol S2/Maschine

FX 3 and 4 for Kontrol S2/Maschine

I’m aware that you can use custom mappings for Kontrol S2 to control FX 3 and 4 from the S2 hardware itself.
I have a Maschine and I mapped my FX 3 and 4 to the Maschine. When I try to use FX 3 and 4 on the Maschine, the effects are shown on the Traktor interface as working with all the corresponding lights on.
However, I cannot hear the effects actually taking place. FX 1 and 2 work perfectly through the Maschine but when I try to use FX 3 and 4, the results are unavailable.

Anyone know how to get around this?

I tried the exact same thing. I just figured fx 3&4 are only for decks 3&4 so I let it go. Didn’t really think about it beforehand, but I realized that there are few instances when I’d actually need 12 effects out haha. I’m sure you could mod around it somehow though.

I hope this isn’t the case for Kontrol S2 only.
I was able to route FX 3 and 4 to Decks 1 and 2, respectively, when using my turntables. I can’t seem to figure it out on the Kontrol S2

Umm, you have to turn the fx units on for the deck, you can do it with the mouse if there isnt a control mapped to it. Under the filter knob there should be 4 buttons, 1,2,3 & 4. they switch the FX Units on per deck, click 3 & 4 and they will then work fine.

You can definitely use all the effects units on each deck
