General MIDI: X1 Question/Help

i want to use my (2) X1s to control traktor like they already do and then midi map them to control ableton the problem is i mapped out one x1 and i went to go do the other one the notes are all the same so its duplicating the other x1 how can i make it so that it can control its own functions. :confused:

so you have one set to A/B and want the other to control C/D?

change the deck focus in the mapping window of the command your trying to make, and make sure it is focused on say deck C instead of deck A

thanks but not the answer Iā€™m looking for it would work if I was assigning commands in traktor but Iā€™m trying to midi map in ableton

when im in ableton I mapped out 1 X1 but when I go to map out the 2nd one the midi notes are the same is there a controller editor file I can load in? or find some where?

You can change the midi channel in the controller editor.
