genre dancing

anyone here do those dances assosiated with a type of music?

  • Melbourne shuffle
  • Jumpstyle/ Hard jump
  • Tektonic
  • DnB step/ X-Outing (ive been wondering for the longest time, is x-outing just another name for dnb step or is it someting else entierly???)
  • SkankOut
  • The Jerk

ETC.

i do the melb. shuffle (not really a whole lot. but im not bad at it. i can only do it at house and electro speeds. i pass out at hardstyle speeds.),

DnB step (i keep it simple though), and as a dubstepper i just naturally skankout (hard).

ive also tried jumpstyle and hard jump but i cant be bothered to do anything other than the basic crap. and my interest in hardstyle died off some before i cared enough to try the harder jumps

No crip walk? haha didn’t realise the melb shuffle had made it that far!

there was an etc in there for whatever didnt come to mind lol.

c- walking is cool as fuck, kind of similar looking to DnB step.

and shuffling hit the us a while ago. never took off, but there are some dudes here and there. theres a crew in chicago that kind of went quiet

EAST COAST SHUFFLERS! yo jumpstyle is hella lame…

Please post some videos of these so called dances…

I need a good laugh!

In the rare occasion I dance, I just move how I want. I never really do dance routines. I do some popping, but I started that before I knew it was called popping.

ill post vids later or in the morning.

also, tektonic and jumpstyle look lame, but mad respect for the people who are good at it. its hard.

but its hard work to look bad… so its like building a house on your own and selling it for a bag of chips…

melb. shuffle

jumpstyle and melb. shuffle

tektonic (probably the only good video of it [i dislike this style a lot, but like i said before, respect])

DnB step (im biased, so heres a couple since theres a lot of ways to go about it)

there used to be a vid from nepster that was exactly the way i do it, but he got rid of it. despite being the most viewed DnB step video and possibly one of the oldest on youtube

skankout (not much to see, just an ;in the moment’ kind of thing)
[just the stuff at the start where he’s in red]

Jerk (i dislike this one too. i just grabbed a random one)

C-Walk

lets see if you can spot the epic irony in this next one (they suck too):

shopping in style

^ i was looking for that one! i was to lazy though.

That DnB step video is how I dance to …everything…

Other than minimal, in witch case I get really… wierd.

Heh.

I <3 Dance!

the one with the red or purple shoes. im more like the purple, but only because the red is too…loose? like, neuro funk. i cant step to it. i can dance to it, but not step to it, just because of the grove it has.

Definatly more like the red shoe guy, those both those tracks were pretty hard DnB.

I prefer the liquid sound… neofunk… coffe table DnB, hehe.

I’ll get into the heavier areas in my sets, but I really try to keep the vibe uplifting, and not too crazy.

ill enjoy the smoother stuff. i love jungle. and i love to go mental to some tunes. unfortunately i just cant keep up with the DnB scene at all. and i cant break into it much. (i.e. i can find any jungle, unless its in a mix)

anyway. back on topic. unless that would kill the thread

 I’m lucky I live where I do…

DnB is going stong, jungle, liquid…

…and on the other end of the spectrum, Jump-Up and Drum-Step are thriving as well…

Good times

the illest

Tektonik girl has a nice rack. I stopped there.

^thats the only reason i watched it…

simple as that.

I mostly just dig, headbang or get epileptic seizures in a vertical position.

Oh, and the Parrot-swag.

thats how i dance to everything.
