Glastonbury 2011... anybody trying to get tickets?

Glastonbury 2011… anybody trying to get tickets?

I am. Sat with 3 laptops and 2 girls (although technically one of them is about as useful as a Glass Hammer) and we are logged on and waiting for the page to go live.

Its always a real circus every year with literally millions of people trying to get tickets all at the same time. The server crashes, your form times out, you dont know if your form has been accepted for hours sometimes.

Its great…

Anyone..?

So did you get your tickets? :stuck_out_tongue:

the girl or laptop?

gonna have a look at it, can’t say if i will go yet though

The girl is useless, shes just making cups of tea.

Looking bad this year. Ive never failed and usually have them within a hour but this year its gone crazy.

even the efestivals Forum has crashed… bad times.

Not even sure if we wanna go this year but it would be nice to have the deposit paid and have a choice.

Only going if its someone special.

so deposit is refundable…? hmm…

Yeah, you lose £10 of the £50 deposit but you need to be registered with a number to get tix today.

Registration is closed until tomorrow which is foe the second sale in April.

as with every year when i think about glastonbury - buying a ticket sounds too complicated, sod it. lol :stuck_out_tongue:

Got my tickets… woop.

Sold all of them for today apparently…

Sold out in four hours

Oh cock. I spend 5 hours asleep and THIS happens!

I literally booked 19 tickets this morning in a 3 hour marathong from 9 til 12. Seems like I was just lucky with my web connection (it’s quite fast here, 10mbps in SE london). Excited. Glasto never dissapoints.

Yeah thats often the case… I was shit this year and relied on a mate who got on easily.
In previous years i have been the ticket hub, odd.

And yeah, Glasto never disappoints…

damn, sold out in 4 hours? i feel like i’m missing something.

do they give out free crack and hookers or something?

Not unless hookers have started to do the rounds at the Sacred Space
