Good user video
As I have to wait a couple of weeks till I get an S4, I’m soaking up all the info etc I can find. Other than the Ean and Shiftee videos, I haven’t found many good performance videos using the S4. This guy in Taiwan (Vitamin A)does a good job of playing with the sample decks, loop recorder, fxs, and mic routing through deck D. Not a polished performance as he says it is just for fun, but definetly does some cool stuff and shows off some of the units potential.

does any one know which fx he is using on the mic in this vid? is it something in traktor or perhaps another program?
Transpose(to make his voice lower) and reverb I think.
I think he is Thai. And I concur nikefun094! Internet is very popular now–more and more shop.
This video is a great example of my previous post “S4 ‘popping’ on release”~ when this guy starts playing, he begins by triggering a kick drum:
every time it POPS when he releases adding extra (unwanted, and unflattering,) rhythm.
This could all be fixed if they build in a ‘quick-fade’ that happens when you release the cue button…
does it do that popping even when you don’t retrigger. In other words, if you only hit the sample button one time, not multiple times, does it still do it? I get my S4 next week, so I am curious about this.
