Grid markers go away

Grid markers go away

In some songs I have to lay down tons of grid markers but this looks cluttered and can get in the way of seeing the waveform. Is there a way to hide them. I have searched the manual and online but I’m starting to think it’s impossible.

Yes, its in the settings.

What’s it under? I can change how they appear on the waveform but it also changes cue and loop point visibility.

I’m not referring to the advanced panel. I’m referring to the white flags on the track waveform.

Changing the appearance of 'Grid Markers’ does not change the visibility of cue points. It just makes the grid less visible or totally invisible.
If you have multiple grids you can hide the grid markers (white lines) but the white grid flag (the grid cue point) will remain visible

I really appreciate your reply but i still think i’m not communicating well. Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words

I want to hide these grid marker flags

the 1st option just changes this

the second option gets rid of the minute markers not grid markers

and the 3rd is the color mode which switch like this:

and this:

any other ideas or have i found something to hope for in the next version?

No dude you are making your point very clear. What you are trying to do is not possible.
A Beat Grid Marker is a Cue Point type. All Cue Point types are always visible. You can hide the grid lines (the consecutive lines of the grid) but you cannot hide the Beat Grid Marker at the point where you set the grid. This is by default.

You can make a Feature Suggestion at NI forums but I very much doubt that this would be implemented. How could you tell if a track had a grid if there was no Grid Marker?

Why do you have so many Beat Grids on one track?

Also, do the extra grid markers actually do anything?

They act as floating cue points. you can switch between them. I’m not sure you can hide them, I believe not, but if you go to your extended view on the appropriate deck, go to the cue section, you can delete em there.
If they clutter the wave, try zooming in a bit, don’t get why you want so many tho..
I use the load point on a lot of tunes. Very handy,

Only if you drop them off the other grid. If you just cue up to a current grid point and drop another marker, its just acts as a bonus cuepoint
