Guitar Center Black Friday Deals?

Guitar Center Black Friday Deals?

Anybody know if guitar center is going to have good deals tomorrow? what time are they opening? i know some stores are opening tonight at 12 like walmart.

Wondering if the xone 22 will be any cheaper tomorrow in store.
or if serato or traktor sratch will be on sale or headphones.
Any help would be appriciated.

Scratch is on sale directly from NI:

Not sure about the Xone, but Musician’s Friend is selling the APC20 for $99.99 with a free MP3 player.

what about mixers? or technics mkII’s?
xone headphones? i need gear lol

29.99 for these…they get good reviews…

Looks like Guitar Center has the APC20 for $85.

That is such a bargain…i would get 2!

the black11 coupon code will get you %15 percent off friday

a xone22 comes out to $255, i was just looking.

an audio 6 would be something like $215, plus NI currently throws in free TP2 upgrade.

about the xone 22 - i think it’ll go on sale after xmas because of pioneers new djm250

Haha yeah, I saw that and giggled .

just fyi proaudiostar will beat any black friday price

pretty much, guitar center is pretty much a last resort if you need something right then, and it is usually just an excuse for me to play with stuff in the store

Nah, pretty sure A&H opts out of discount codes, just like almost every other decent manufacturer. The 15% off won’t work with a Xone.

Couldn’t agree more. Guitar Center lost credibility in my book. They seemed to stop working with customers on prices the way they used to. Right around the same time, internet market places became really relevant. After that, I’ve never gone to Guitar Center unless it’s an emergency. They will match prices for the most part, but I’d rather support smaller stores.

As for Proaudiostar, they are great, but I’ve stuck with idjnow.com. They seem to offer prices that are just as competitive, and will match anything proaudiostar has offered. Another GREAT company out of NY.

Lol, what are you saying? It definitely works with ANY product that Guitar Center sells. They don’t say “Oh you can use 15% on Sennheiser but not 15% on Pioneer”.

The coupon worked (and works) fine across the board.

I really like zzounds.com. I’ve taken proaudiostar deals, sent them over to zzounds, and then zzounds sends me back an even cheaper quote (after verifying the competitor) in 20 minutes through email. on top of that they have the 4 installments payment thing.

I have yet to buy anything but I’m pretty sure my next major “NEW” purchase will be through zzounds! I’ve been buying used gear lately and getting awesome deals so no real need to buy new.

I also see nothing wrong with Guitar Center as long as they price match. It’s money in the end and whoever will go lowest gets mine

Different stores will provide different experiences. I’ve had sales people come off very arrogant when I’ve tried to get a deal.
Prime example was when I tried to pick up some gear and asked them to give it to me for a certain price. I got an immediate and resounding no. After asking “you guys aren’t matching prices anymore?”, I was told it’s out of their control. Then I told him “ok, I’m a little disappointed since another guitar center did it for me, but I’ll just pick the stuff up online”. As soon as he realized I had no problem walking away confident that I could get what I wanted at the price I wanted, he almost chased after me to do what I initially asked.
I refuse to give my hard earned money to a company whos employee fails to give me at least mediocre customer service.

I feel you dude. Very very true!

so who got what?
