Has anyone changed out the LEDs of a DDJ-SZ/SX?
I’m not talking about just the pads, but the buttons as well.
With the new Pioneer DDJ-RZ/SZ out.. I still would love to hold onto my gear, but give it an imitated look 
The orange LEDs comes into mind. Blue/Orange is lovely, by the way

Possible… but voids warranty and surface mount LEDs might be challenging
Sounds like a cool idea. I was able to find a service manual and it looks like the LEDs are 3mm through hole. So if you have a decent soldering iron and buy some LEDs off eBay, etc it should be a good weekend project. The only caution I would have is check the current pull of the LEDs before removing them. If the new LEDs are a lower voltage you may end up driving too much current through them or too little. The resistors may need to be replaced as well as the LEDs.
