Yeah, its kind of an odd name! Just found the site and wanted to say hi. I started DJing a few months ago and wondered if there was a forum online to read articles and discussions on the subject. I initially picked up a controller last year but didn’t really get on with it so I upgraded to CDJ’s and a mixer which suit me better. I got myself a sound cloud account and just practice when I can get the time!
Looking forward to reading the articles here.

If you don’t use Traktor don’t bother trying to DJ.
Hi, thanks. I’m aware of Traktor but never used it. I used Serato with the controller I had but gravitated to Rekordbox and then to CDJ’s.
I’ll be sure to take a look at Traktor in more detail through. Thanks!

One day Pioneer will give us all the mapping options Traktor has. That will be a glorious day!
As in Midi-mapping? I’m using a couple of CDJs and a mixer so maybe that’s no so important for me.

I use RekordboxDJ for DVS.
You sound the same as me got a controller and used serato but didn’t enjoy it so much so got myself a pair of cdjs and a mixer … much prefer it.
How are you getting on with your mixing?
