Help me decide a Dubstep Clubnight Name

I’m holding a Dubstep clubnight every Friday (Starting next Friday [10 days] ) and I need to come up with a sweet name that people will remember the come up with a logo & fliers etc. I’m having trouble deciding on a name so I’m enscripting you guys to help!

Heres my ideas so far:

Sonicboom
Subloaded
Lo-Fi
Dubtone
Subtone
Echodubs
Dub Pressure
Bass Pressure
Lockdown
Dissent
Real Big Groove
The Low End
Dissonance
Rinse
Databass

Let me know if you have any ideas or which of those names you rekon are sweet.

some of those you had we were really cheesy/clichéd (no offence intended just telling you what i think)

really try to avoid anything with ‘bass’ in the name and you want the name to be punchy and memorable so avoid more than two words in the name

One way of thinking of it is see how it sounds in this sentence:

‘You going down to on Friday?’

Those ones are good. I’m just worried about Rinse being a major Dubstep radio station Rinse FM. Dont wana infringe… hmmm maybe its a good thing tho.

It’s just that I already know of a nights with a couple of those names, but if you’re in a different country it’s not really an issue.

In a slumping global economy it may give the impression of a cheap night out, listening to some chest rattling goodness.

to me it conjures of the image of a saggy bottom (male or female before i get into hot waters) :wink:

something a bit more up lifting in the title maybe - not that i have any better suggetions - just here to contribute some smart ass comments

i actually liked a rub-a-sub-dub. thought it was very clever.

My suggestion would be Doomsday of Dub.

I didnt really like anything on your list, no offense, just nothing stuck out as a great clubland night for me.

why not get a couple of your mates round - sit and have a couple of beers or whatever you are into and each of you have a dictionary

keep opening the pages and random points - close the eyes - each point to a word and read them out - stick the word dub on the end or whatever

just thinking you might end up with something really obscure and away frm your usual line of thinking

i named a track recently from 3 different saves

1 started as weekend (track i was making at the weekend)
2 weekend bounce (bounced a couple of tracks in the new set)
3 my friend started to remix it and we call him trousers

new set save title was “weekend bounce trousers” and it fits the song cos it has a bit of a bouncy bass
