bought traktor pro 1 week ago then update to 1.2.5,but couple days later started crashing when i open traktor and it display crashlogs msg caused the programm closed…then i may need to try 10 times re-open til success.
plus,when i go File or load music frm Explorer folder,it crash again.
*when its able to play,sounds and everythings going smooth.
the computer is new,no internet/no audiointerface/latency 10ms/switch off anti-virus/usb computer speaker/

Sorry if this sounds crude but it’s the reality.
As for your problems: did the ‘crashlogs msg’ say anything (error code maybe)? Also, have you tried re-installing traktor? Are you using any controller? If so, which one?
before loading traktor press windows key + r
type taskmgr
go to processes tab
select explorer
click end process button
then click file > new process
type in directory of traktor (c:\program files\native instruments\traktor\traktor.exe for example)
this will take the explorer part of windows out of the equation, might help, might not
if it does, as a time saver.
open notepad
type in the directory of traktor in quotation marks (these > " )
save it as traktor.bat
move it to windows\system32
now when you load traktor from task managers new process dialogue you only need to type traktor

Hey could someone please help me, I am new to djing and bought a vci 100 se from this site and i bought a new computer today that has 2.56 ghz and runs an i5 processor. It wouldnt run the installer on the traktor le disc (only showed files) so I downloaded the traktor le demo and activiated it with the serial number i received with the box. Whenever I do something after the program has opened it istantly says serious error has occurred and a crash log has been made. I contacted NI about this and they palmed me off continually. I havent connected my vci yet but i dont understand why traktor le keeps crashing. Does it have anything to do with windows 7? I am too worried to buy the traktor pro upgrade because I dont want to spend all this money and not have the file work. Thanks for your help guys, Daniel
Thanks for your help guys, im going to get the traktor pro upgrade today so ill tell you how it goes, ive heard that the traktor le discs have not been working on some windows 7 computers so hopefully thats all it is. cheers, daniel
