Thank you for all your help…

  1. no just load the tks files for the VCI 100SE (firmaware 1.3)…
    …here u can find the tks http://www.djtechtools.com/forum/showthread.php?t=339
2)yes idk how exatly to get the playlist…but u can drag them all the playlist into traktor.
3)you have to wait untill the waveform appears:smiley::smiley:

and your welcome if u neeed more assistance let me know

the waveform never appears… do i need to use an external sound card for this to work??

no from where are u getting the track and what kind of computer are u using ??
tell me the specification on your comp

i have the track in itunes. i have a new Macbook Pro 2.5Ghz 3Gb 15 inch screen. The name and artist come up on the deck, but no waveform. is it because i don’t have audio device choosen??

and make sure they are in a format that traktor recognized…what u mean by the audio device chosen??

hey do u like ur vci SE so far ??

like i said it sees the track i tloads the name and artist. i don’t have an ext sounds card yet… just got the SE. haven’t made it work yet???

lucky im dying for one SE how u got it?..no you dont need any external soundcard with others song to see if no go to preference and go to the playlist section to see if u can fix it from there …

i am getting the preference page, audio setup, souncard, it says Audio Device Built-in Output not connected. i wonder if this is why??

yea choose the audio device

Make sure you have seen to it that Traktor has selected:
1.) your internal soundcard to work
2.) your VCI-100 SE as a MIDI controller.

These things are set at Preferences.

yeah, im getting Audio Device: Built-in Output not connected

in the audio device set build in soundcard (the name of the soundcard inside your PC) i guess …erase and reinstall the software…maybe you installed wrong

Make sure your internal soundcard is not already been used by another program, winamp, windows media player or whatever.
Also if your using an internal soundcard is most likely does not have ASIO drivers, you should download asio4all from www.asio4all.com and use this driver instead of your standard WDM drivers.
The Asio4all drivers should be able to achieve a much much lower latency than the standard WDM drivers that you are trying to use.

Hey Fooman airborne express or ups ur macbook pro and the vci-se and ill get them running for you, cant say if Ill return it, but Im sure Ill be rock ur rig in not time. good luck man

Oh wait hes using a Macbook lol scrap what i said there about the drivers then :stuck_out_tongue:

Yup Macbook Pro 2.5 Ghz 3Gb Ram + VCI-SE. The thing I would do to that system…Hehe

You said you bought the tracks from itunes, did you buy itunes plus tracks or the copy protected ones ?
When loading the track into the deck is there any message in the progress bar on bottom left of the screen ?

I got a Dell and a VCI-100 original, trust me you don’t need a Mac and a SE do to cool stuff !
