Help with Equalizers
Hi guys. I just bought a new HP desktop and they came with Beats Audio equalizers. I’ve never messed with any before.
I’m trying to achieve a solid bass feel, the one where you can feel that “punch in your chest” feel.
What do 65Hz, 125Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz, 1kHz, 3kHz, 6kHz, 9kHz 12kHz individually represent?
I know some are bass and some are treble. How do I go about?

I figured this question has been asked more than a few times so I asked the Google and I was right.
If you’re trying to get that bass feel with the computer speakers I hate to tell you but, it ain’t gonna happen.

65hz = low (bass)
12khz = high (treble)
125hz - 9khz = everything in-between … play with the faders and you’ll figure out how to make it sound the way you want, if you can’t it won’t make any difference anyhow.
Don’t expect miracles, you need decent speakers as well unless you already do.
Real DJ’s make smiley faces out of EQ’s 
Turn that shit off and get better speakers. IDK why you’d want to use a crappy EQ made for consumers compared to real tools.
Also…that club thump you’re wanting is somewhere around 100Hz to 300Hz depending on exactly how the track was made. But, seriously, just play with it and listen. The way you learn things like this is to turn every knob and push every button and see what happens.
