Hi Need a bit of help here! :)

Hi Need a bit of help here!

hi, i have a behringer djx900usb and 2x Numark NDX800’s. i want to connect these all with traktor but i have a feeling that i will need to buy a traktor audio soundcard.. can somebody please help me on what the best choice would be? thank you

Just connect the NDX800s to your computer and use them as your soundcard.

i know you can do this, but the problem is how will i set these up with the behringer djx900usb?

if you want to use it for traktor scratch, i´m afraid you have to buy a scratch certified sound cart oder mixer.

So would you think a traktor audio 8 or audio 10 soundard will work with this setup?

Connect the NDX800 to the mixer via RCA then mixer to speakers.

You don’t have to use scratch though. The NDX800 is a midi controller too.

An audio 6/8/10 will work just fine. An audio 4 will too.

Okay, i’ve had this problem before when i was trying to connect the ndx800’s to the trakor kontrol s4, but the behringer and ndx800’s are my live set up. so i think to be save i might buy a traktor audio 10 soundcard, because i do not have any clue on how to run the ndx800’s and the behringer through traktor itself, sorry if this sounds confusing! haha

Wow my bad. Turns out the NDX800 doesn’t have a sound card..

You don’t have to buy a Traktor 10 if you’re only using 2 decks. Just get an audio 4.

The Traktor Audio 2 will work as a sound card to go with your NDX800s, using MIDI control which should work better than timecode.

i’m thinking an audio 6 may be the answer then… the only problem i’m going to have buying the audio 6 is how to set it up inside traktor with the behringer djx900 and ndx800, would anybody have a clue how to set these up inside traktor? thanks guys

What makes you want the Audio 6 over the Audio 2, given the large price difference? Do you prefer timecode to MIDI?

because it seems to have more inputs in the system itself, i really don’t know how to set up and audio 2 with the mix setup i have..

Computer and Audio 2 are connected via USB.

Get two 1/4" TRS → 2 RCA cables.

Connect these two cables to the mixer. Output from mixer to speakers. Your Numarks are connect to the computer via USB as midi controllers.

The audio 2 comes with all the cables you need.
