Perfect on the move, plug headphones in. Do some arrangements, create new drum pattern, make some cool sound designs on vst synths when you’re away from home. Even make a track =)
All I do in ableton is make fart noises.
use your onboard soundcard and ASIO4ALL as a driver.
If I ever boot up LIVE with soundcard unplugged, if I’m away from my desk, it hangs like hell. Used to on an old Live 8 cracked copy I used and still does the same on legit 9.2 version.
Also works vice-versa, when I plug the soundcard in and I’ve been running off mobo soundcard.
LIVE DOES load, in the end. Just leave it to do its thing.
however, I have another soundcard (native audio 10) which I did use in place.
fact remains if hardware and drivers are not set up and running correctly, before running ableton live, then live will have a tantrum about it.
made changes to my setup, but essentially the soundcards are still there and all working properly.
