I’m pretty sure I read somewhere Calvin Harris is a pseudonym.
How ever I suppose I could use my own name, just worrying about in the future when I have all these number ones releases and groupies, I don’t want them hunting my name down in the phone book…

and i got my name from a tv show called Detroit 1-8-7…they had a tag artist the cops were trying to catch called nuke5 and i just thought it was interesting and different!

And yeah, LmnLm3 is [lemon-lime] remove vowels, but it needed 3 and 3 so a 3 for the E on the end.
But my given name is quite plain, so I needed something with more pop. If My name was Micah though, I think I would play with that, even if you don’t use your last name. Micah → Mike (microphone) ->Phone (headphones) = Micah Phono but that’s just me rambling.

Suddenly got asked for a gig, unexpectedly, and now i need to come up with a name…
My normal name (bob vrijhof) is too Dutch and sounds weird, and i want something simple thats symbolic for me and my music… ( melodical Deephouse and also leaning toward softer tech house)…
Maybe someone could point me into a direction, but i think i’ll have to come up with something myself eventually.
some parts i thought of using were my middle names (Marcus Carolus) and translating part of my last name (vrij = free) but it mostly turns out cheesy…
