I’m doing one of these beatport contests and I can’t tell if my mix is any good :-/.

anyone mind giving their opinions?

thx

Cool song, how do manage the synth after the intro? I wanna get something sounding like that but with a more piano feel.

Which sound? What time does it come in?

Ccomes right after the first drop or, or after the intro..

oh gotchya. They are just octave stacked supersaws. theres hundreds of videos on it on youtube if you don’t know how to make them or dont have any. here’s one random one

thanks alot broo

got any idea on how to add a piano feel to it?

btw when are you releasing this song, i actually want to download it.

Do you have an example of what sound you’re looking for? Or describe what you mean by ‘piano feel’? And the song itself is in a contest on beatport so I can’t release yet.

Check out tht bootleg of miikes snow devil work, when he sings, ‘you know the devils workkk’ you can hear a similiar sound

I think it’s been limited to the point of distortion myself, what we mastering engineers call “shredded”. Very very bright in the main parts of the song, I think on a big rig it would almost be painful. Back off that limiting some, let it breath and pump more.
