How is the Xone 32 mixer?

What do you guys think of the Allen and Heath Xone 32 mixer? I am thinking of adding it to my setup and mixing externally. I know where to get a brand new one pretty cheap and I am considering buying it. Economically its my best option I seen so far. Anyone who uses one or used one, is the sound as good as other Allen and Heath products? I was also wondering if those long style faders could be replaced by a regular fader cap which I am more used too? The other downside is that its only 3 channels and at this point Im not really sure if I will be using 4 decks that often. I will have to purchase an Audio 8 and one of the channels would be going to waste. But besides that I am really considering Allen and Heath because I hear much good things. So anyone have any experience with this product?

Allen and Heath are generally just awesome… Really reliable, solid and sound great.

As for the channels you could just use three decks or stick an Ipod in for if the computer crashes (not that I am saying that it will) better safe than sorry.

Also you dont have to go and buy an audio 8, you could just get the cheaper kontrol1?

Abyrne - I am also looking into an Allen and Heath mixer. Been looking at a 42 or 92. From what I’ve read these have all gotten awesome reviews. Curious as to what your set up will be. Time Coded or all digital. What do you plan on using it with?

If it were me though, I’d save up a few more bucks get the 42 to have 4 decks. Kinda sucks having 4 decks to use and only being able to use three.
